Resumen:

An exploratory study was conducted to know how the students within the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad Veracruzana use the electric power provided by the school. A group of them was consulted on the amount of equipment they use during their stay in the classroom. Likewise, a total energy consumption and its economic cost for the electricity bills of the university was calculated. In addition, a comparison of consumption of electrical equipment was made to verify the electrical power used inside the facilities to confirm the information provided by the manufacturer against the measured value of actual shape. © 2019 IEEE.
